EMERALT is an industrial strength, PC-based process control system especially designed for MBE and CVD facilities. It features a powerful, yet simple programming language combined with outstanding connectivity to control and monitor almost any device on the market. EMERALT is especially suitable for retrofitting heterogeneous systems and can be easily adapted to any future changes by the user.
Real-time software technology guarantees outstanding control precision, while multitasking allows you to run several processes in parallel: grow a VCSEL structure in the main chamber while you automatically vent the load-lock unit and bake a sample in the preparation chamber. EMERALT was developed in cooperation with the Paul-Drude-Institute for Solid State Electronics, in Berlin, Germany.
