CreaTec effusion cells are used in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) evaporation systems to generate ultrapure molecular and atomic beams from a large variety of elements and compounds. The different types of effusion cells are specifically designed for the materials to be evaporated. Operating temperatures typically range from: -50 °C...300 °C and 200°C...2000 °C.
Our
Principle is your Success
Effusion cells are the most crucial components of molecular beam epitaxy (MBE)systems. The consequent use of ultrapure materials as well as the rigorous cleaning and outgassing of all parts are self-evident during the manufacturing process.
Our effusion cells are assembled under class 10 clean- room conditions.
Helium leak testing with QMS, baking at maximum temperatures with and without crucibles, and burn-intesting are all performed in a UHV environment. These careful procedures guarantee successful operation in your MBE system.
Our Custom-Design is your Flexibility
Integrated shutters and water-cooling systems are optional for our complete line of effusion cells. This makes our cells more flexible for use in evaporation and MBE systems of different design.
We manufacture custom designed effusion cells of different length and diameter upon your request.
All our effusion cells are shipped with crucible.
For optimum transport and storage the effusion cells are packed in stainless steel containers.
Specially adapted controller units with high-precision PID controllers and stable power supplies are also available.
Special designs for
problematic materials (sulphur etc.)
All cells available
as Knudsen-cell type (K-cell).
Cells in “downward looking
version “.
Custom designed effusion
cells for your special need upon request.
Integrated shutters
for all types available.
Individual water-cooling
jackets.
Customized power supplies
Our effusion cells are compatible with MBE systems from all suppliers worldwide.
